CLOSING OF THE MUSEUM
The Castello Museum will be closed from 8 January to 15 March 2024.
It will reopen on Saturday 16 March with free entry on 16 and 17 March 2024.
NOTICE TO VISITORS
We inform you that the first floor of the Museo Casorella, which houses the permanent exhibition Arp Galaxy, will be closed to the public from 24 July to 18 August 2023 (included). For this reason, during the aforementioned period, the cost of the ticket that allows you to visit both the Museo Casorella and the Visconteo Castle will have a reduced cost.

Fascinating and charming
Following an important restoration and reorganisation, Casorella is now the new headquarters for the city’s art collections. The Museo Casorella undertakes the task of enhancing the artistic heritage of Locarno, which counts about 4,500 works, including paintings, sculptures, and prints. The permanent exhibition highlights its most significant works, which have been kept in storage until now.
